DESCRIPTION

After a day of touring D.C. with my parents, we stopped at the Iwo Jima memorial at sunset on D.Day. I caught this spectacular silouette of this larger than life tribute to those who gave their lives in World War II. An extra treat was meeting an actual WWII Marine who was there passing out literature.
